The horror title is a Japanese cult classic.
By Robert Marrujo:: In a total surprise, 14-year old Japanese horror game Yume Nikki has landed on Steam. Even more surprising? It's free! The game has been published by AGM Playism, a Japanese company known for localizing indie titles from all over the globe in the West.
The game has previously been unofficially patched by fans, but this marks its first time appearing with a translation in tow. What's even more fascinating is that there's a website with a countdown going that will coincide with a Yume Nikki announcement of some sort. A peek at the source code for the page mentions something about "Yume Nikki Dream Diary," so perhaps fans can look forward to a new game? We'll find out together in a couple of weeks!
