The latest from M. Night Shyamalan's shared universe is coming in 2019.
By Robert Marrujo:: M. Night Shyamalan is hard at work on the third installment of his Unbreakable-universe, dubbed Glass. The film is set to star Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and James McAvoy, reuniting the starts of Unbreakable and Split, respectively.
The movie marks a rare collaboration between Disney (under its Buena Vista International imprint) and Universal Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The reason for the pairing is a mutual interest in the film; Unbreakable was a Disney property while Split belonged to Universal. In an effort to bring the two worlds together smoothly, both studios are onboard.
Shyamalan Tweeted the following photo to mark the occasion:
The film will be released domestically in the US by Universal, while Buena Vista International will be handling release duties abroad. Glass is expected to drop on January 18, 2019.
