Don't expect any bells and whistles, though.
By Robert Marrujo:: Splatoon 2 on Switch is every bit as good as the original, if not more so, but even the best of games can use an update here and there. Thus, Nintendo has provided fans with Version 1.4.1. Here's what the update brings with it:
- Fixed an issue allowing Brella weapons used by opponents to shoot while their umbrellas remained open.
- Fixed an issue allowing players using the Goo Tuber to store a charged shot indefinitely by charging briefly, immediately becoming a squid, then keeping the charge as long as ZL wasn’t released.
- Fixed an issue allowing player to pass through the squid barrier surrounding the spawn points on Snapper Canal.
And... that's about it! Issue fixes galore. Still, for competitive players this a big deal, as exploits can be a major pain when trying to get in fair matches against opponents. It's nice to see Nintendo paying attention to small details like these between free weapon and map updates, as well as events like Splatfests.
