Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 Coming to Switch

With Amiibo support!

By Robert Marrujo:: During Capcom's Mega Man 30th anniversary livestream, the company dropped a couple of bombs on viewers. As though word of Mega Man 11 wasn't enough of a shock, Capcom also revealed that Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 would both be coming to Nintendo Switch. While the first game appeared on 3DS (with a special gold Mega Man Amiibo in tow!), it was conspicuously absent from Wii U, and the sequel never appeared on any Nintendo platform—until now!

Along with bringing the titles to Switch, there will also be new Amiibo support integrated. Sadly, Capcom didn't explain which Amiibo or what the feature will do, but it's nice to know fans who have been waiting for the titles on a Nintendo console will be able to enjoy a little something extra. There's no word on when the games will be arriving, but keep it posted here and we'll let you know as soon as we find out!
