You'll be re-wetting your pants in roughly two years.
By Robert Marrujo:: The most recent adaptation of Stephen King's It has done gangbusters at theaters; the movie had done so well that it's now the current highest-grossing horror film of all-time. With that kind of hype it's only natural that fans might wonder if a sequel could be coming down the pike, and as luck would have It indeed will have a followup.
The sequel to It has been penciled in for a September 6, 2019 release date. The sequel will be directed once more by Andy Muschietti, but the return of the core cast will be limited as the new It will be focusing on the Losers Club some 27 years following the events of the film. The original actors will be seen in flashbacks, apparently, for those of you who might miss the kids. There's no word on adult casting just yet. We'll keep you posted with more info as it develops!
