From the creators of Limbo.
By Robert Marrujo:: Developer Playdead made quite a name for itself last console generation with the release of Limbo, a bleak, spartan, black and white platformer. Its somber tone and compelling visuals, coupled with tight controls, made it a real standout title, appearing across a litany of different systems. Flash forward to now and the studio's followup effort Inside has somehow managed to equal, if not surpass, the quality of its predecessor.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners have been able to enjoy the game for a while now, but thankfully, as revealed by Japanese magazine Famitsu, Inside will also soon be heading to Switch and iOS (sadly, no release date or window was provided). Inside is similar in tone and look to Limbo, but it brings with it a nuanced and powerful narrative, as well as some exceptional game design. Check out the trailer above to get a glimpse of what Inside has to offer and share your thoughts with us in the comments!
