Get ready to obliterate hordes of faceless baddies on your Switch, as Fire Emblem Warriors has finally gotten an official release date. Mark your calendars for October 20 if you're interested in seeing the likes of series' stalwarts like Chrom and Marth engaging in Dynasty Warriors-style mass carnage. Developed by Omega Force and Nintendo, Fire Emblem Warriors is the latest collaboration between the two developers, with the well-liked Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends preceding it.
For those who like a little swag with their physical copies of games, take note that a Special Edition of the game will also be available at launch. It'll include the following:
- Three CDs
- Fire Emblem Warriors game
- Dual-sided poster
- 25 character art cards
Here's a peek at the contents, as provided by Nintendo of America via its Twitter account:
Not too shabby, eh? As of this writing there's no official word on whether or not the 3DS version will also be launching on September 20, nor do we know if the portable iteration will also have the Special Edition on offer. We'll update this story once we find out.
