Fantastic Four Comic Relaunch Coming From Slott and Pichelli

Coming this summer!

By Robert Marrujo:: Full confession: I've been dying for more Fantastic Four for years now. I started reading the series regularly a million years ago back when Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo took over with a special nine cent issue. From that day forward I was a monthly reader of the First Family of the Marvel Universe. It was with a heavy heart that I watched the series cancelled and the bulk of the characters depart to rebuild the multiverse following the conclusion of Secret Wars. While I've greatly enjoyed Marvel Two-in-One, the book is only half of the quartet that I want to read about.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over. Marvel has announced that the Fantastic Four will be back this August with a new number one. The book will be written by Dan Slott (The Amazing Spider-Man) and drawn by Sara Pichelli (Miles Morales: Spider-Man). It's unclear if Marvel's recently-announced dual-numbering will grace this new volume of the Fantastic Four or not. Regardless, it's great to see them back in action!
